this one might be particularly incoherent, sorry about that. it was a long day. ૮(˶•́⤙ก˶)
yesterday i finished a task i was procrastinating over for at least a month, the feeling of having that weight lifted is wonderful.
there's a lot of work i both want and need to get to now; the storyboard for my partner's band's song's video, the pinup commission i'm currently working on, tackling a bigger section of my website building. unfortunately, i think it'll still take at least a day or two before i can get into all or most of those things; we'll be working at the studio for most of the day tomorrow and the day after, on sunday we'll be home most of the day, but we'll probably have lunch with my mother-in-law or father-in-law, which may take the entire evening. is it normal to wish i could be home all day everyday to focus on my creations? i think that if it weren't for my partner taking me places i'd be home all the time.
one of the other guys that work at the music studio asked me for pricing on little animations he wants to get done for his band. i'm terrified of it. on one hand, gosh, wow!!!! someone wants to buy something from shitty little me!, yayyayyay!, on the other hand oh god how much should i charge. what is a fair price for this thing i am very passionate about, certainly a little - very little - qualified to perform and have no actual professional experience with? i have done pinup commissions for over a year now, but animations? only for myself. now i'm working on something for my partner, but it's still unfinished. i'm thinking of charging him $100 to do a couple of pictures and if it feels immensely unfair as i'm working on it i'll take note of it for future work.
i have implemented a custom cursor for my page! it's static and i couldn't figure out how to customize the pointer cursor too, but now when you're clicking around my unfinished home there's a little bat attached to your pointer :)
it's still almost 03:00 and i'm already sleepy ૮(˶•́⤙ก˶) wondering if i should drink more coffee or go lay down. i still gotta do the laundry before going to sleep, and i did make a to-do note on cleaning the bathroom's sink as it's looking a bit yucky, but i may leave that one for tomorrow cause i suck (˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧

✩ infini's page has a wonderful art section.✩ love the overall use of space in ratwalks' birdlog page. all information is easily displayed, readable, and looks good! great ref. his about page is also really good.
✩ derrek's home page!! has a dedicated video introduction!! and it's great!!
✩ a simplistic layout that i think works really fine and i like it a lot is oidavid's journal/blog page. it's just two little windows, one small, one medium, a cute colored background, cute pictures, small, simple text. simplicity can do wonders.

˗ˏˋ ♡ ˎˊ˗ storyboarding in process. i'm working waaayyyy too slow for this section. i think lining & shading & effects might take a lot of hours too and i'm scared of deadlining. but i think i can do it still, just really really need more time at home.
˗ˏˋ ♡ ˎˊ˗ i feel so much shame sharing her here. this is a very late commission i'm still working on. i love the subject, i love this client, i feel so bad for taking so long. hopefully i'll be able to finish her this week! just gotta finish her shading, add lining details and she's done (๑'ᵕ'๑)⸝*
