hello!! ʕ•́ᴥ•̀ʔっ

today i'm working on my neocities page again. i finally got brave enough to touch css coding and, to my surprise, it worked! css looks and feels a bit less intuitive than html in my opinion, but now that i poked it once it seems perhaps i can learn it too.
working on some placeholder assets, updating the navigation section and perhaps editing the overall layout later

some stuff i want to create/implement on my neocities page:

on a different topic; it's sunny today (ㅅ´ ˘ `)
i gotta remember to water my plants once the sun goes down, they look a little thirsty. my sunflowers are about to start flowering - it'll be my first time seeing my own grown sunflowers bloom and i'm very excited :-D
our lettuces have stagnated and don't seem like they'll grow much more if at all, my dad says it's probably due to how windy it is outside but there's nothing we can do to shield them from it where they're planted. spring is almost upon us so we'll try to plant them again in a different vase on the floor and fewer of them this time, and see if they'll feel better then.
the spices are growing wonderfully! they love their location, the only downside is we grossly underestimated how often we'd like to use them, so most if not all of them are cut down short. since the lettuces will be reduced & relocated anyway, we'll plant more spices in their left behind blank spaces.
i gotta mention the little trees, too. we have a jabuticaba and an acerola tree, each on a corner of our balcony. the acerola tree started growing pretty much instantly after we planted it, but the jabuticaba tree wasn't super feeling her vase at first; many leaves turned brown and fell, its lower branches were weak and we thought it would die before the end of winter for sure, but!! it lived! last week it started growing new leaves from its higher branches, so strong and chunky the stem is almost thicker than the stick it came from. needless to say i'm very excited! hopefully it'll fully recover during spring and we'll have juicy jabuticabas in a few years ♡(˶˃ᆺ˂˶)
